The Bishop Manogue Miners (Reno, NV) football knocked off the host Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV), 28-7 in Friday's league outing.

The Miners now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host McQueen for a 5A Division II Northern outing on Friday, September 27. Bishop Manogue will clash with a Lancers squad coming off a 49-7 league loss to Reed (Sparks, NV). The Lancers record now stands at 3-3.

With the defeat, Spanish Springs drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Douglas (Minden, NV) to clash with the Tigers in a 5A Division II Northern outing on Friday, September 27.
