October 4, 2024: McDonald, PA 15057 The Fort Cherry Rangers football squad scored 35 points and limited the visiting Cornell Raiders to 6 in the Rangers league triumph on Friday.
The Rangers now sport a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bishop Canevin for a WPIAL A Black Hills test on Friday, October 11. Fort Cherry will meet a Crusaders squad coming off a 42-0 non-league win over Serra Catholic (McKeesport, PA). The Crusaders record now stands at 5-1.
With the defeat, Cornell drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Rochester (Rochester, PA) to meet the Rams in a non-league test on Friday, October 11. The Rams come into the test with a record of 2-4. Rochester won 49-28 in their recent league test against Shenango (New Castle, PA)
