The Fort Cherry Rangers (McDonald, PA) football trounced the visiting Chartiers-Houston Buccaneers (Houston, PA), 42-6 in Friday's league outing.

The Rangers now sport a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Monessen for a WPIAL A Black Hills outing on Friday, September 20. Fort Cherry will clash with a Greyhounds squad coming off a 20-14 league win over Serra Catholic (McKeesport, PA). The Greyhounds record now stands at 4-0.

With the defeat, Chartiers-Houston drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Buccaneers host Burgettstown (Burgettstown, PA) to clash with the Blue Devils in a WPIAL A Black Hills outing on Friday, September 20. The Blue Devils come into the outing with a record of 1-2. Burgettstown lost 42-0 in their recent league outing against Cornell (Coraopolis, PA)
