Pennsylvania High School Football - Fort Cherry trounces Northgate

August 23, 2024: McDonald, PA 15057

In Friday's non-league match, the host Fort Cherry Rangers football squad scored a decisive 39-0 triumph over the Northgate Flames.

The Rangers (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (Coraopolis, PA). The Chargers go into the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart was crushed by Blackhawk (Beaver Falls, PA), 28-0, in a non-league bout.

The Flames now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Riverside for a non-league bout on Friday, August 30. Northgate will encounter a Panthers team coming off a 38-26 non-league loss to Hopewell (Aliquippa, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.
