The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC) and the visiting West Mecklenburg Hawks (Charlotte, NC), witnessed Hough's football squad wallop West Mecklenburg by a tally of 44-0.

The Huskies (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC). The Lions enter the 3A/4A Queen City contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, West Charlotte crushed Hopewell (Huntersville, NC), 47-0, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Hawks confront the North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC) in a 3A/4A Queen City contest, on Thursday, October 10.
