The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC) and the visiting Mallard Creek Mavericks (Charlotte, NC), witnessed Hough's football squad wallop Mallard Creek by a tally of 33-0.

The Huskies (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Harding University (Charlotte, NC). The Rams enter the 3A/4A Queen City contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Harding University was trounced by West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC), 72-0, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Mavericks battle the West Mecklenburg Hawks (Charlotte, NC) in a 3A/4A Queen City contest, on Friday, October 25. Mallard Creek will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Hawks enter the contest with a 2-6 record after their 33-6 league win over Hopewell (Huntersville, NC).
