California High School Volleyball - Monte Vista can't hold off Saint Joseph
October 4, 2025: Lakewood, CA 90713 In Saturday's non-league match, the Saint Joseph Jesters (Lakewood, CA) volleyball team held off the visiting Monte Vista Monarchs (Spring Valley, CA), by a margin of 2-1.
The Jesters now possess a 13-15 record. They play next when they travel to Rancho Cotate for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 4. Saint Joseph will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 league win over St. Vincent de Paul (Petaluma, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 15-4.
The Monarchs (9-15) will now prepare for their match against Bonsall (Bonsall, CA). The Legionnaires enter the non-league match with a 6-6 record. In their last match, Bonsall held off High Tech NC (San Marcos, CA), 3-1, in a league bout.
