Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Straughn Tigers (Andalusia, AL) and the host Samson Tigers (Samson, AL), observed Straughn's volleyball team top Samson by a count of 2-0.

The Tigers (17-9) will now prepare for their contest against Goshen (Goshen, AL). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 1-14 record.
