Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Straughn Tigers (Andalusia, AL) and the visiting Opp Bobcats (Opp, AL), saw Straughn's volleyball squad notch a victory over Opp by a score of 3-1.

With the win, Straughn improves its record to 20-11 on the season.

The Bobcats now own a 13-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to American Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 23. Opp will meet a Patriots team coming off a 3-0 league win over West Blocton (West Blocton, AL). The Patriots record now stands at 19-15.
