Virginia High School Volleyball - J.R. Tucker tips Godwin
October 5, 2023: Richmond, VA 23233 J.R. Tucker Tigers (Henrico, VA) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Godwin Eagles (Richmond, VA), 3-2 in a league match.
Next up, the Tigers battle the Glen Allen Jaguars (Glen Allen, VA) in a Colonial match, on Tuesday, October 10. J.R. Tucker will attempt to advance on its 5-8 season record. The Jaguars come into the match with a 7-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Godwin (Richmond, VA).
With the loss, Godwin drops to 2-13 on the campaign. The Eagles host Clover Hill (Midlothian, VA) to battle the Cavaliers in a non-league match on Monday, October 9. The Cavaliers come into the match with a record of 4-7. Clover Hill lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Midlothian (Midlothian, VA)
