The Panther Creek Panthers football squad scored 48 points and restricted the host Carter Cowboys to 27 in the Panthers league victory on Thursday.

The Panthers now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pinkston for a 4A-1 Region II District 7 battle on Thursday, October 12. Panther Creek will play a Vikings squad coming off a 24-22 league loss to Carter (Dallas, TX). The Vikings record now stands at 4-2.

Coming up next, the Cowboys play the Ranchview Wolves (Irving, TX) in a 4A-1 Region II District 7 battle, on Thursday, October 12. Carter will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Wolves enter the battle with a 2-5 record after their 50-14 league loss to Wilmer-Hutchins (Dallas, TX).
