Maryland High School Football - Magruder drops to Gaithersburg

October 5, 2023: Gaithersburg, MD 20877

In Thursday's non-league game, the Gaithersburg Trojans (Gaithersburg, MD) football team knocked off the visiting Magruder Colonels (Rockville, MD), by a final score of 42-19.

The Trojans (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Seneca Valley (Germantown, MD). The Screamin' Eagles come into the Montgomery County 4A - West game with a 3-3 record. In their last game, Seneca Valley was dropped by Quince Orchard (Gaithersburg, MD), 28-0, in a league game.

The Colonels now hold a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Rockville for a Montgomery County 3A game on Friday, October 13. Magruder will battle a Rams team coming off a 39-35 non-league loss to Richard Montgomery (Rockville, MD). The Rams record now stands at 2-4.
