New Mexico High School Football - Clovis drops to Carlsbad
October 5, 2023: Carlsbad, NM 88221 In Thursday's non-league game, the Carlsbad Cavemen (Carlsbad, NM) football team knocked off the visiting Clovis Wildcats (Clovis, NM), by a final score of 23-6.
The Cavemen (4-0) will now prepare for their game against Artesia (Artesia, NM). The Bulldogs come into the non-league game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Artesia was dropped by Clovis (Clovis, NM), 46-34, in a non-league game.
The Wildcats now hold a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Goddard for a non-league game on Wednesday, October 11. Clovis will battle a Rockets team coming off a 15-7 non-league loss to Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM). The Rockets record now stands at 4-1.
