In Thursday's non-league contest, the Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO) volleyball squad nudged the visiting Palmer Ridge Bears (Monument, CO), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Thunder battle the Air Academy Kadets (US Air Force Academy, CO) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 10. Discovery Canyon will attempt to better on its 12-3 season record.
