In Thursday's non-league contest, the Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO) volleyball squad were winner over the host Air Academy Kadets (US Air Force Academy, CO), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Thunder face the Lutheran Lions (Parker, CO) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 26. Discovery Canyon will attempt to better on its 10-1 season record.

With the loss, Air Academy moves to 4-2 on the year. The Kadets travel to Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO) to face the Red-Tailed Hawks in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 26. The Red-Tailed Hawks go into the contest with a record of 1-1.
