Johnson County Central Thunderbirds (Tecumseh, NE) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Falls City Tigers (Falls City, NE), 2-0 in a league test.

With the win, Johnson County Central improves its record to 17-4 on the season. The Thunderbirds host Centennial (Utica, NE) to face the Broncos in a non-league test on Saturday, October 5. The Broncos go into the test with a record of 7-15. Centennial lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Thayer Central (Hebron, NE)

The Tigers now own a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer for a non-league test on Saturday, October 5. Falls City will face a Titans squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Fairbury (Fairbury, NE). The Titans record now stands at 10-8.
