October 5, 2024: Huron, SD 57350 The Wolsey-Wessington Warbirds topped the host James Valley Christian Vikings volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Warbirds confront the Hitchcock-Tulare Patriots (Tulare, SD) in a non-league game, on Saturday, October 5. Wolsey-Wessington will attempt to advance on its 17-5 season record. The Patriots go into the game with a 21-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Sunshine Bible Academy (Miller, SD).
The Vikings (1-10) will now prepare for their game against Oldham-Ramona/Rutland (Ramona, SD). The Rutland go into the B Region 2 game with a 4-15 record. In their last game, Oldham-Ramona/Rutland was dropped by Deubrook (White, SD), 3-1, in a non-league game.
