September 24, 2024: Wolsey, SD 57384 The Wolsey-Wessington Warbirds volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Rebels to 1 in the Warbirds non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Warbirds now possess a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to James Valley Christian for a B Region 2 outing on Thursday, September 26. Wolsey-Wessington will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 3-0 league loss to DeSmet (DeSmet, SD). The Vikings record now stands at 0-6.
With the loss, Sanborn Central/Woonsocket drops to 8-6 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Highmore/Harrold (Highmore, SD) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 1.
