California High School Flag Football - Serra nudges St. Anthony

October 6, 2025: Long Beach, CA 90802

In Monday's league match, the visiting Serra Cavaliers flag football squad scored a close 24-20 victory over the St. Anthony Saints.

The Cavaliers (7-4) will now prepare for their match against St. Mary's Academy (Inglewood, CA). The Belles go into the battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, St. Mary's Academy nipped Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, CA), 32-0, in a league battle.

The Saints now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Saint Joseph for a battle on Wednesday, October 8. St. Anthony will play a Jesters team coming off a 14-0 non-league loss to Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, CA). The Jesters record now stands at 16-2.
