October 7, 2023: Chatham, VA 24531 Hargrave Military Academy Tigers (Chatham, VA) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Carlisle Chiefs (Axton, VA), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers face the Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 12. Hargrave Military Academy will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 3-1 league loss to Blue Ridge (St. George, VA).
The Chiefs now have a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host New Covenant for a Blue Ridge Athletic challenge on Tuesday, October 10. Carlisle will face a Gryphons team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over James River HomeSchool (Chesterfield, VA). The Gryphons record now stands at 9-3.
