October 7, 2023: Anchorage, AK 99508 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Bettye Davis East Anchorage Thunderbirds (Anchorage, AK) volleyball squad nudged the visiting West Anchorage Eagles (Anchorage, AK), by a margin of 2-1.
Next up, the Thunderbirds face the Dimond Lynx (Anchorage, AK) in a 4A Cook Inlet contest, on Tuesday, October 10. Bettye Davis East Anchorage will attempt to better on its 24-8 season record. The Lynx go into the contest with a 26-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Centennial (Corona, CA).
With the loss, West Anchorage moves to 12-15 on the year. The Eagles travel to South Anchorage (Anchorage, AK) to face the Wolverines in a 4A Cook Inlet contest on Tuesday, October 10.
