October 8, 2024: Albuquerque, NM 87108 St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM), 3-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, St. Pius X moves its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Sartans host Belen (Belen, NM) to meet the Eagles in a 4A District 5 test on Thursday, October 10. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 5-10. Belen lost 3-2 in their recent league test against Valencia (Los Lunas, NM)
The Hornets now sport a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they host Cibola for a non-league test on Thursday, October 10. Highland will meet a Cougars team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM). The Cougars record now stands at 2-12.
