New Mexico High School Soccer - Taos nudges Pojoaque Valley
October 8, 2024: Taos, NM 87571 In Tuesday's league outing, the host Taos Tigers soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes.
The Tigers (8-4) will now prepare for their outing against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM). The Hilltoppers go into the 4A District 2 outing with a 7-8 record. In their last outing, Los Alamos got by Moriarty (Moriarty, NM), 6-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Elks/Elkettes confront the Moriarty Pintos (Moriarty, NM) in a 4A District 2 outing, on Thursday, October 10. Pojoaque Valley will attempt to improve on its 1-13 season record. The Pintos go into the outing with a 1-14 record after their 6-0 league loss to Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM).
