Georgia High School Softball - River Ridge bounces Riverwood
October 8, 2024: Sandy Springs, GA 30328 The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the River Ridge Knights (Woodstock, GA) and the host Riverwood Raiders (Sandy Springs, GA), observed River Ridge's softball team get by Riverwood by a tally of 4-0.
The Knights (11-12) will now prepare for their bout against Lassiter (Marietta, GA). The Trojans go into the 5A Region 6 bout with a 18-4 record. In their last bout, Lassiter tipped Sprayberry (Marietta, GA), 7-0, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Raiders battle the Kell Longhorns (Marietta, GA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, October 9. Riverwood will attempt to advance on its 11-13 season record. The Longhorns go into the bout with a 21-4 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Hillgrove (Powder Springs, GA).
