California High School Volleyball - Redlands over Cajon
October 8, 2024: San Bernardino, CA 92407 In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Redlands Terriers volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Cajon Cowboys.
The Terriers (19-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Yucaipa (Yucaipa, CA). The Thunderbirds enter the Citrus Belt challenge with a 19-9 record. In their last challenge, Yucaipa beat Redlands East Valley (Redlands, CA), 3-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Cowboys meet the Citrus Valley Blackhawks (Redlands, CA) in a Citrus Belt challenge, on Thursday, October 10. Cajon will attempt to upgrade on its 12-12 season record. The Blackhawks enter the challenge with a 15-9 record after their 3-1 league win over Beaumont (Beaumont, CA).
Match Summary
Redlands had a difficult time with this Cajon team despite sweeping at Cajon 25-17, 25-23, 25-20 and remaining on top of the CBL with two games remaining. This game featured senior setter Lauren Reiter's 1500 career high school assist on a back set to Devi Lucas in the second set. The Terriers look forward to Thursday when they take on Yucaipa at Terrier Gym in this season's final home league and home regular season game.
