October 8, 2024: Fritch, TX 79036 Sanford-Fritch Eagles (Fritch, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Highland Park Hornets (Amarillo, TX), 3-2 in a league test.
With the win, Sanford-Fritch improves its record to 24-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to West Texas (Stinnett, TX) to face the Comanches in a 2A Region I District 1 test on Saturday, October 12. The Comanches go into the test with a record of 18-8. West Texas lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Vega (Vega, TX)
The Hornets now own a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vega for a 2A Region I District 1 test on Saturday, October 12. Highland Park will face a Longhorns squad coming off a 3-0 league win over West Texas (Stinnett, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 26-5.
