Colorado High School Softball - Legacy bounces Monarch

October 8, 2025: Louisville, CO 80027

The Legacy Lightning softball squad scored 15 runs and limited the host Monarch Coyotes to 2 in the Lightning non-league triumph on Wednesday.

Next, the Lightning meet the Mead Mavericks (Longmont, CO) in a 5A/4A/3A Granite Peaks challenge, on Friday, October 10. Legacy will attempt to upgrade on its 12-10 season record. The Mavericks enter the challenge with a 11-10 record after their 6-2 league win over Longmont (Longmont, CO).

With the loss, Monarch moves to 8-13 on the season. The Coyotes travel to Northglenn (Northglenn, CO) to confront the Norsemen in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 9. The Norsemen come into the battle with a record of 9-12. Northglenn won 6-4 in their recent league battle against Mountain Range (Westminster, CO)
