October 9, 2024: Monroe, NC 28112 The Monroe Redhawks football squad scored 17 points and limited the visiting Parkwood Wolf Pack to 0 in the Redhawks non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Redhawks now hold a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Anson for a non-league test on Thursday, October 17. Monroe will meet a Bearcats squad coming off a 32-12 non-league win over Piedmont (Monroe, NC). The Bearcats record now stands at 3-2.
With the defeat, Parkwood drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Wolf pack host West Stanly (Oakboro, NC) to meet the Colts in a non-league test on Thursday, October 17. The Colts come into the test with a record of 3-3. West Stanly lost 26-14 in their recent non-league test against Forest Hills (Marshville, NC)
