October 9, 2024: Glasford, IL 61533 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting Abingdon/Avon Tornadoes soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Illini Bluffs Tigers.
The Tornadoes (11-7) will now prepare for their outing against Calvary Christian Academy (Normal, IL). The Knights go into the non-league outing with a 4-4 record. In their last outing, Calvary Christian Academy got by Mt. Pulaski (Mt. Pulaski, IL), 6-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Tigers play the East Peoria Raiders (East Peoria, IL) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, October 10. Illini Bluffs will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record. The Raiders go into the outing with a 3-14 record after their 9-1 league loss to Metamora (Metamora, IL).
