Texas High School Football - Memorial thwarted by Denison

Denison Yellow Jackets (Denison, TX) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they observed their football squad thwart the host Memorial Warriors (Frisco, TX), 41-23 in a league match.

The Yellow Jackets (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Liberty (Frisco, TX). The Redhawks come into the 5A-2 Region I District 4 match with a 1-6 record. In their last match, Liberty was beaten by Walnut Grove (Prosper, TX), 70-14, in a league match.

Next up, the Warriors play the Liberty Redhawks (Frisco, TX) in a 5A-2 Region I District 4 battle, on Friday, October 24. Memorial will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record.
