Sandhills/Thedford Knights (Dunning, NE) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Mullen Broncos (Mullen, NE), 48-32 in a league battle.

With the win, Sandhills/Thedford improves its record to 5-2 on the season. The Knights travel to Hyannis (Hyannis, NE) to meet the Longhorns in a D2 District 9 (8 Man) test on Thursday, October 16. The Longhorns come into the test with a record of 3-4. Hyannis won 56-30 in their recent league test against Brady (Brady, NE)

With the defeat, Mullen drops to 6-1 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Bayard (Bayard, NE) to meet the Tigers in a D2 District 9 (8 Man) challenge on Friday, October 17. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 1-6. Bayard lost 55-8 in their recent league challenge against Maxwell (Maxwell, NE)
