Sandhills/Thedford Knights (Dunning, NE) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Bayard Tigers (Bayard, NE), 68-8 in a league battle.

With the triumph, Sandhills/Thedford upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Knights host Maxwell (Maxwell, NE) to meet the Wildcats in a D2 District 9 (8 Man) match on Thursday, September 25. The Wildcats come into the match with a record of 3-1. Maxwell won 70-36 in their recent league challenge against Hyannis (Hyannis, NE)

The Tigers (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Brady (Brady, NE). The Eagles go into the D2 District 9 (8 Man) challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Brady was ripped by Mullen (Mullen, NE), 71-32, in a league challenge.
