November 1, 2024: Angie, LA 70426 The Riverside Academy Rebels football squad scored 56 points and limited the host Varnado Wildcats to 0 in the Rebels league triumph on Friday.
The Rebels now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Crescent City Christian for a 1A District 10 test on Friday, November 8. Riverside Academy will meet a Pioneers squad coming off a 70-0 league loss to West St. John (Edgard, LA). The Pioneers record now stands at 1-6.
With the defeat, Varnado drops to 3-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to St. Martin's Episcopal (Metairie, LA) to meet the Saints in a 1A District 10 test on Friday, November 8. The Saints come into the test with a record of 8-2. St. Martin's Episcopal won 28-14 in their recent non-league test against Glen Oaks (Baton Rouge, LA)
