The West Mesa Mustangs football team (Albuquerque, NM), was knocked off 35-21 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM)

The Rams (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Sandia (Albuquerque, NM). The Matadors come into the non-league challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, Sandia knocked off Cibola (Albuquerque, NM), 10-6, in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now sport a 6-5 record.
