The Sunnyslope Vikings held off the visiting Desert Mountain Wolves football team by a count of 23-20 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Sunnyslope upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Vikings travel to Skyline (Mesa, AZ) to confront the Coyotes in a 5A Northeast Valley outing on Thursday, November 10. The Coyotes go into the outing with a record of 5-4. Skyline lost 30-8 in their recent league outing against Gilbert (Gilbert, AZ)

With the loss, Desert Mountain moves to 7-2 on the season. The Wolves host Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ) to confront the Falcons in a 5A Northeast Valley outing on Thursday, November 10. The Falcons go into the outing with a record of 4-5. Cactus Shadows lost 52-6 in their recent league outing against Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ)
