Canton Tigers (Canton, MS) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Yazoo City Indians (Yazoo City, MS), 46-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Canton upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Tigers host Velma Jackson (Camden, MS) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 12. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Velma Jackson lost 51-32 in their recent non-league bout against Callaway (Jackson, MS)
