Texas High School Basketball - Americas overwhelms Permian

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Americas Trail Blazers (El Paso, TX) and the visiting Permian Panthers (Odessa, TX), saw Americas's basketball squad wallop Permian by a tally of 49-25.

With the victory, Americas improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Trail Blazers travel to Parkland (El Paso, TX) to confront the Matadors in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 13. The Matadors come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Parkland lost 73-71 in their recent non-league challenge against Immanuel Christian (El Paso, TX)

Next up, the Panthers confront the Monterey Plainsmen (Lubbock, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 14. Permian will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Plainsmen come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 62-44 non-league win over Brownfield (Brownfield, TX).
