The Eastwood Troopers basketball team (El Paso, TX), was nudged 29-26 in Saturday's league battle with the host Americas Trail Blazers (El Paso, TX)

The Trail Blazers now possess a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to El Dorado for a 6A Region I District 1 battle on Wednesday, December 13. Americas will confront a Aztecs team coming off a 56-49 league loss to Coronado (El Paso, TX). The Aztecs record now stands at 3-9.

The Troopers (8-6) will now prepare for their battle against Socorro (El Paso, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 6A Region I District 1 battle with a 7-5 record. In their last battle, Socorro was nudged by Pebble Hills (El Paso, TX), 68-42, in a league battle.
