Arkansas High School Basketball - Cedar Ridge overwhelms Calico Rock
November 12, 2024: Calico Rock, AR 72519 The Cedar Ridge Timberwolves basketball team scored 69 points and limited the host Calico Rock Pirates to 35 in the Timberwolves non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Timberwolves now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Cave City for a non-league game on Thursday, November 14. Cedar Ridge will confront a Cavemen team coming off a 60-13 non-league win over McCrory (McCrory, AR). The Cavemen record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Calico Rock falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Timbo (Timbo, AR) to confront the Tigers in a 1A Region 2 game on Thursday, November 14. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 4-4. Timbo lost 77-42 in their recent non-league game against Marshall (Marshall, AR)
