Indiana High School Basketball - Northeastern bests Muncie Central

November 12, 2024: Fountain City, IN 47341

The Northeastern Knights basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Muncie Central Bearcats to 37 in the Knights non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Knights now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Yorktown for a non-league game on Thursday, November 14. Northeastern will play a Tigers team coming off a 64-53 non-league win over Guerin Catholic (Noblesville, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Muncie Central falls to 0-2 on the year. The Bearcats host Marion (Marion, IN) to face the Giants in a North Central match on Friday, November 15. The Giants enter the match with a record of 1-1. Marion won 56-51 in their recent non-league match against Logansport (Logansport, IN)
