Texas High School Basketball - Rockport-Fulton holds off King
November 14, 2023: Rockport, TX 78381 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Rockport-Fulton Pirates (Rockport, TX) and the visiting King Mustangs (Corpus Christi, TX), saw Rockport-Fulton's basketball squad hold off King by a tally of 59-53.
With the victory, Rockport-Fulton improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Victoria East (Victoria, TX) to confront the Titans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, November 18. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Victoria East lost 48-40 in their recent non-league challenge against El Campo (El Campo, TX)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Madison Mavericks (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 16. King will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 63-58 non-league win over Jefferson (San Antonio, TX).
