Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Meridian Yellowjackets (Meridian, TX) and the visiting Frost Polar Bears (Frost, TX), saw Meridian's basketball squad overcome Frost by a tally of 61-42.

With the victory, Meridian improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Hico (Hico, TX) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, November 18. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Hico lost 66-20 in their recent non-league challenge against Millsap (Millsap, TX)
