November 16, 2022: Minooka, IL 60447 The Providence Catholic Celtics basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Minooka Indians to 11 in the Celtics non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Celtics now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Joliet Central for a non-league contest on Friday, November 18. Providence Catholic will battle a Steelmen team coming off a 62-32 non-league loss to Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL). The Steelmen record now stands at 1-1.
The Indians (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Lincoln-Way West triumphed over Joliet Central (Joliet, IL), 62-32, in a non-league contest.
