Illinois High School Basketball - Minooka nudges Downers Grove South
December 21, 2022: Downers Grove, IL 60516 Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Downers Grove South Mustangs (Downers Grove, IL), 47-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Minooka upgrades its record to 4-8 on the season. The Indians travel to Sandburg (Orland Park, IL) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, December 26. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Sandburg won 57-29 in their recent non-league bout against Oswego East (Oswego, IL)
Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs (Riverside, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 26. Downers Grove South will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 54-25 non-league loss to Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL).
