The Melrose Buffaloes (Melrose, NM) football trounced the host Gateway Christian Warriors (Roswell, NM), 58-6 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Buffaloes now sport a 12-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mesilla Valley Christian School for a non-league outing on Saturday, November 23. Melrose will clash with a SonBlazers squad coming off a 28-22 non-league win over Fort Sumner/House (Fort Sumner, NM). The SonBlazers record now stands at 10-1.

With the defeat, Gateway Christian drops to 7-3 on the campaign.
