In Friday's non-league outing, the Gulf Buccaneers (New Port Richey, FL) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Central Bears (Brooksville, FL), by a margin of 50-9.

The Buccaneers (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Nature Coast Tech (Brooksville, FL). The Sharks go into the non-league outing with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, Nature Coast Tech smashed Citrus (Inverness, FL), 71-12, in a non-league outing.
