The Hammond Central Wolves basketball team (Hammond, IN), was toppled 62-45 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN)

The Indians now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chesterton for a Duneland battle on Wednesday, November 22. Lake Central will confront a Trojans team coming off a 64-56 non-league win over Plymouth (Plymouth, IN). The Trojans record now stands at 3-2.

The Wolves (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Gary West Side (Gary, IN). The Cougars come into the Great Lakes battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Gary West Side was toppled by Marquette Catholic (Michigan City, IN), 66-12, in a non-league battle.
