DeSoto County Bulldogs (Arcadia, FL) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Palmetto Tigers (Palmetto, FL), 66-51 in a non-league match.

With the victory, DeSoto County advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Bulldogs host Lake Placid (Lake Placid, FL) to face the Dragons in a non-league match on Friday, November 22. The Dragons enter the match with a record of 1-0. Lake Placid won 35-12 in their recent league match against Avon Park (Avon Park, FL)

The Tigers now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Braden River for a non-league match on Thursday, November 21. Palmetto will face a Pirates squad coming off a 50-27 league win over Southeast (Bradenton, FL). The Pirates record now stands at 1-0.
