Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the New Washington Mustangs (New Washington, IN) and the visiting Rock Creek Academy Lions (Sellersburg, IN), witnessed New Washington's basketball squad hold off Rock Creek Academy by a count of 40-33.

With the victory, New Washington advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Henryville (Henryville, IN) to meet the Hornets in a Southern battle on Friday, November 21. The Hornets enter the battle with a record of 2-2. Henryville won 63-56 in their recent non-league battle against Switzerland County (Vevay, IN)

In their next game, the Lions battle the Springs Valley Blackhawks (French Lick, IN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, November 22.
