Americas Trail Blazers (El Paso, TX) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Andress Eagles (El Paso, TX), 45-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Americas upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Trail Blazers travel to Eastlake (El Paso, TX) to play the Falcons in a 6A Region I District 1 bout on Tuesday, November 28. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Eastlake won 68-45 in their recent non-league bout against Mountain View (El Paso, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Mountain View Lobos (El Paso, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 28. Andress will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Lobos go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 68-45 non-league loss to Eastlake (El Paso, TX).
